You certainly know the pendulums to have seen them in films or animations.
The same goes for the dowsing rods used by source seekers. However, in Feng Shui, these accessories are also useful to detect sensitive waves. These waves can be of various natures, such as the presence of water, faults, cosmo-telluric chimneys, metals, etc.

Dowsing is the art of using a pendulum or dowsing rods to detect various waves in a home or garden
Contrary to popular belief, dowsing is an art and not a gift. It does not aim to profit from lucrative purposes nor to exercise any power on Men. It simply consists in measuring the vibrations present in the earth, the walls or the ground in order to locate one's home, a well or others. Did you know that? Man also gives off vibrations!
There is no scientific proof today that this art is true, nor even proof of the reliability of dowsing. However, the vibration of rods or a pendulum over water or land activity does exist.
Many dowsers swear by brass rods. But it is not impossible to practice this art with a willow branch in V or any other wood. However, parallel brass rods are said to bring more convincing results.
For clocks, there are also different shapes and materials. Indeed, the tip can be made of gold, gold-plated, silver or quartz.
The use of dowsing rods differs from one person to another. It is necessary to learn to feel the energies. Some dowsers talk to their rods before they begin their search. Hold the rods away from your body, then focus on what you are looking for. When the wands cross, you are getting closer to your target. The closer you are, the more intense the crossing becomes. Stop and check.
The pendulum, on the other hand, is used more for decision making. The chain should be wrapped around the index finger at a distance of about 8 cm. Then hold it with your thumb. The idea is to stay as still as possible. To do this, break the wrist slightly and fold the other fingers into the palm of your hand. You can place it on top of a dowsing board, a map or sand. Concentrate on the question you want to ask and observe the movement of your pendulum.
Whichever tool you choose, it takes a lot of practice before you can use it. Don't be discouraged, only by persevering will things happen!
